Please pray for my friend Catherine...

I received the following email from my friend Catherine. Your prayers for her and her husband Ryan would be gratefully appreciated.

Dear C.C. and D.T.,

I am writing to ask for your prayers, as we serve a mighty God. It's been a tough few months. After contracting a stomach virus in late-September of 2008, I began having “passing out/ near passing out spells” at first every now and then. But the frequency increased to multiple times per day, making it impossible for me to work. The doctors began running tests in an effort to diagnose and treat my worsening condition. These “spells” start off with my cheeks turning very red and hot, followed by extreme dizziness and weakness, and occasionally my hearing in my right ear goes out. Most of the time, I can prevent myself from actually passing out completely by concentrating on the wall or an object until the symptoms subside. It can last for a few minutes up to an hour many, many times every day. My current doctors are baffled and don't know how to help me from this point on.

Mayo Clinic accepted me as a patient as of last Thursday and my appointment will be Thursday, August 6 in Rochester, Minnesota. I would appreciate you praying for wisdom for the doctors and strength for me as I go through more tests. I know that God has a plan and my desire is to be used through this and to not miss what He desires to teach me through this.
